HAM AND RAISIN BREAD

Dough

In the food processor mix the following ingredients for 40 to 60 seconds:

- ½  kilo flour  ( 500 grs )
-  1  egg 
-  1  Tbsp corn oil
-  2   tsp salt
- 21 grs. fresh yeast ( if it`s dry, use 7 grs )
-  pinch sugar 

Then pour in 1¼ cups warm water or until the dough doesn´t stick.

Knead dough until smooth. 

Make a round shape and place in a previously greased container. Cover with a wet kitchen towel and allow to rest for 1 hour.

Knead the dough for the second time.

Roll it out, brush with melted butter, put in pieces of ham and raisins and then give it the shape you desire or fit it into a greased loaf pan and allow it to rest for 30 min.

Then bake it for 40 min. in a pre-heated ( 350° F – 180° C ) oven.

Tip:

With this dough and adding sugar and cinnamon, you can make sweet rolls.
